I was just reading up on Ship Rat/roof rats, as I think one might make for an interesting deviation...though that would depend on how well they respond to both myself and the lab/ Norway Rat they end up housed with. >_> ANYWAYS, I just thought this was hilarious They resemble parrots in that they may be passionately devoted to one human being (or to one dog, or whatever) and hate - even actively attack - everybody else. This is not a serious as it sounds, because unlike the Norway rat the ship rat has quite a weak bite - but they are as agile as monkeys and fly at you from all angles. It's like being savaged by a vampire squash-ball. I just couldn't stop giggling. XD Can you imagine that? Turning a corner and there is suddenly an incensed or NOT O_O rat leaping into your face?!

And speaking of rats, I would LOVE to go here someday --> Deshnok.

Um, in other news, I have fallen back into (a really random) Pierrot phase...again. Which sucks. Blarg.

EDIT: I totally want an African/Gambian Giant Pouched rat. FOR SERIOUS.
