So because I was silly enough to be efficient with my lab space and actually clean up some usable area, I now have to share my lab with some random French student. I was getting used to having my own space where I could listen to music and occasionally pass out in my chair. Plus, she smells really bad. She might have been cute if it weren't for that aspect. Silly French people. But apparently she is going to become my somewhat student, as the main reason she is invading my domain is to learn LabView, which apparently I'm the only one in the HEP department who actually knows how to program. So I'll have to see if I can manage to delegate some of my projects to her under the guise of "training exercises".
On a totally unrelated note, I have fig newtons, and anyone who would like to share should drop by and rescue me from the boredom of my existence.
