er.. quick question. For some reason, when I make an MP3 CD rather than just a straight bung-it-in-the-player CD, it works better. So an mp3 CD with about 170 tracks on it would be okay?
I don't know, but when I burn just straight CDs, they seem to like skipping a lot. :(
A random thought - it would be nice if people receiving mixes would know who they were from, so suggest people write their LJ names on there? That way, follow up info for bands would be easily obtained.
Also, although it requires a little more effort, I like the idea of people doing, along with tracklistings, a little bit about the track / band, ie what release it can be found on and the bands website address.
a cassette is fine; several people have commented that they were more into mixtapes than cds. plus, it's a bit of tradition that we shouldn't let die :)
