What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
Let's see...graduated, went to Otakon, went to college, drank rum and coke (even if it was in the last few hours of 2008, lol), voted, had a relationship (sort of, I guess), um...and there's probably other stuff here too.
Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
My last resolution was to figure out who I was. I'm still not close to that at all.
Did anyone close to you give birth?
Not this year, I don't think.
Did anyone close to you die?
Nope.
What countries did you visit?
None.
What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?

What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory?
My graduation. Otakon. The election.
What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting a 4.0 my first semester! 8DDD Getting all fives on my AP tests and getting National AP Scholar! And making up with a very close friend I almost lost. IL herrrr~
What was your biggest failure?
Not doing too well in terms of some other personal relationships.
Did you suffer illness or injury?
Not anything serious.
What was the best thing you bought?
Hard to say...there's too many things I bought this year to pinpoint one specific thing.
Whose behavior merited celebration?
Anisha. She definitely made the first step in repairing our friendship <3. Others are here too, of course. But she sticks out in my mind.
Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
There are certain people I'm not too happy with (even though I don't even think they realize and/or care) from home because of how they seemed to not care that I was going off to college and how they treated me throughout the summer. And I wasn't happy with how some people from college were acting.
Where did most of your money go?
Going out to eat at restaurants with friends. Buying stuff. All that.
What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Graduation. Otakon. College. The election. 8D
What songs will always remind you of 2008?
Probably most things from the Decemberists, because I just got into them this year.
Compared to this time last year, are you:
happier or sadder? Um...hard to say. Happier, I'll go with. 8D
thinner or fatter? Probably around the same.
richer or poorer? Richer. Scholarships helped with that.
What do you wish you'd done more of?
Worked. Community service. Get more involved.

What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
To have not even bothered with certain people. For example, apologizing to a certain someone when I shouldn't have even cared because it was basically a waste of time because he, after a while, didn't seem to give two shits. Whatever. Can't deal with HS drama anymore.
How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
Two belts. Jacket. Black shirt and jeans.

Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008.
