In my experience, if your kid gets his/her grades up to A+, and then is always in a good mood when she/he goes to school, they'll rarely bring homework home. If their grades go down, they start bringing it home.

Is that not only the case if you have the hack that does that? Before I got that hack my sims always brought home homework regardless of grade/mood. Though that was without ALL the EPs...

Yeah, I have homework sometimes but I thought it was random. Then again, it's been awhile since I read the documentation.

OH! Okay, so clearly I need to be AWAKE when reading things. I totally misunderstood. xD But yeah in that case then simsforaranya's comments on when they get no homework are totally sound. ^^

You know, I'm not sure sims CAN tinker autonomously... Though there's surely a hack for it... *wonders*
