Snow
It's snowing moderately heavily in NY - of course, it being NY, it's all sort of slushy and bleh on the ground instead of a nice, proper, white. But that's okay because I'm heading to Boston - with more snow! - in about 2 hours for Christmas. I'm not sure how long I'll stay - I could stay until the 4th... or possibly the 10th. Alternately, I could flee my family (always a good thing) and come back to NYC for New Year's (tho it sounds like my housemates aren't having a party this year). My family is already giving me a schedule of events. It's like The Love Boat complete with cruise director. Unfortunately, there are a lot fewer celebrity appearances and a lot more passive-aggressive behavior.
Given my trip, I've spent most of the morning packing up. Most everything is done except for Percy and Mary. Since I'll be away for so long, I'm bringing them back with me, partly so they don't starve or anything but mostly because I think they'd forget who I am. ;)
Anyway, I'm all set to bring them:
