"Shh." She hissed a little at the mention of magic and gave an annoyed look. That kind of stuff was a secret. "... We might as well acquire some groceries."
She was deadpan and a matter of fact now. "One: It's almost the truth. Two: I openly admit that I am hikikomori anda NEET, and thus am not entirely considered sane by the majority of society."
"Okay, fair enough." Snickering, his hands went to his jacket pockets. "Not all that much wrong with being a hikikomori, but that's just my opinion. Kind of a recluse myself."
"I agree. I don't avoid society out of any fear of them. I simply like books more than most people." Whether that meant she liked books more than most people do, or that she likes most books more than she likes most people she forgot to clarify, since it was so obviously the latter in her mind.
"Heh...I can sympathize. It's been a long time since I really socialized with anyone at all. Seems like I'm the only person I can really trust anymore."
He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Nah, nothing I can think of. I'm pretty much set for weapons, and I don't think I'll need much else."

He seemed to give this some serious consideration, though his face was blank as ever.
"Guess I don't have a choice."
