Friends Only

My mother is here! It's so weird! She picked me up after I finished at University, and I know my mother's memory is like an elephant's, but I was still surprised she remembered my timetable. I did email it to her once though, so maybe she was being sneaky, and has it printed out somewhere...

She is in town for a while, with (sit down, film buffs) Jackson Howland, as they've teamed up to make a movie together. In London. I'm not allowed to know any more, I'm only her daughter ;) I didn't get to meet him tonight though, he left soon after I got there, but the time between me arriving and him leaving I kind of spent unconscious...

I'm very much alright, though. I only fainted. I blame skipping lunch, then spending almost an hour in a stuffy jeep in rush hour traffic. This is why I don't like cars, especially if I can't have a window open.

Anyway, I think he carried me to the couch. It was all kinds of mortifying.

The other big news is that my mother's movie, La Mer, is premiering at the International Film Fesitival next week and we ("we" defined as "anyone you want to bring, Nancy: it's a party!") are invited to the after party my mother is throwing. Providing we all come along to the movie first, of course. But it's Scarlett's film debue, and Stephie and I are gothed up and dancing, so why wouldn't you want to see it?

Next Thursday night, Curzon Soho (Shaftesbury Avenue, London W1D 5DY) 6:40pm. I don't know how much tickets are and I had to google the cinema, because my memory, unlike my mother's, is awful today.

I hope I'll see most of you there :)
