Baldur's Gate 2, one of the few games that my parents let me keep on their computer, and ergo the only game I can play until we fix what appears now to ba a motherboard problem on my computer.

...You have a company-built computer. Do they not do tech support? And if not why in the balls did you not build one yourself for like half the cost?

it IS a custom machine. If you mean "why didn't I put it together with my own hands", then I think we've had this discussion too many times already.

Well, buying a prebuilt computer from a place that doesn't have a warranty or tech support was a mindbogglingly shitty decision and I'm kind of surprised at you.

it has both. Remember when my first hard drive turned out to be corrupted? Yeah, that was covered by warranty. This might be, too, once we figure out exactly what's wrong. And let's face it, phone tech support is not very useful on problems of this level.
