When I arrived in Olympia, people told me it rarely snowed here. So when it snowed each year I've been here, I've felt lucky in addition to being happy. But an inch or two is about all that ever fell.
IT'S BEEN SNOWING FOR DAYS! And it is going to continue for more days.
In places like Chicago and Albany, this would hardly be an issue. But this place has very little capacity to clear any roads. Indeed, the major road I take to work each day was so caked in ice on Friday, about 3 days after the first snow landed, that it was rough like a dirt road.
I'm a little worried about getting to the airport on Wednesday since the precipitation is supposed to continue.
