What did the Good Wife stars do during the Summer or what's ahead?
During the summer hiatus for the show, some stars did a film or other projects, others did nothing.
Here's a list of who did do something ;)
Josh Charles (Will Gardner) still has a movie called 'Weakness' in post-production that is set to be released somewhere in 2010. It wasn't filmed this summer since its been on IMDB for a while, so unsure what the next step for this film is. The story is about a suburban high school teacher who loses his wife and his moorings during a summer break. It seems to center more around
Bobby Cannavale's character.
Matt Czuchry (Cary Agos on the show) filmed a movie called 'The 19th Wife' with Chyler Leigh and Patricia Wettig. It is set to premiere on Lifetime channel on September 13th. Matt plays a guy called Jordan, The story follows a fundamentalist sect of First Church of Latter Day Saints of which member BeckyLyn (Wettig) is a member. She is accused of killing her husband. Queenie (Leigh), another wife in the sect, doesn't believe BeckyLyn is guilty and reaches out to her ex-communicated son, Jordan (Czuchry), for help. But when Queenie and Jordan start asking questions about the night of the murder, they quickly see all is not what it seems.
Chris Noth (Peter Florrick) mostly did SatC2 promotion during the summer, but he also has another new project lined up. It is called 'Sure Fire Hit' and he plays Tony.
Synopsis for the film -> Kam is in her thirties and from the suburbs nearing her well earned if somewhat early retirement. She is asked by her boss to train up a replacement before she leaves. Only trouble is, her replacement seems to have an agenda of her own. To make matters worse a Matrix mad ex and his comical friend are hot on their heels but not very good. Warner seems to think he is invisible and his mate would rather hit on the girl and the bottle than a target. Who believes they will come out on top. Sure Fire Hit... a love to kill.
There's no real release date known yet, but there is a trailer ->

Graham Phillips (Zach Florrick) has a project called 'Goats' lined up. Which is set for release in 2011. The project is in production according to IMDB, not sure if it has filmed yet or not. Graham plays the lead called 'Ellis'
The story is about fourteen-year-old Ellis is getting ready to leave his luxurious home in the foothills of Tucson for his freshman year at Gates Academy, an East Coast prep school. This means leaving behind Wendy, his flaky, new age mother and the only real father he has ever known, Goat Man
Joe Morton (aka Daniel Golden) appeared in episodes of White Collar and Eureka during the summer. He also has a project lined up called 'The Mulberry Tree'. A drama centered on a young man working in Rhode Island's state corrections system and his relationship with a convicted murderer who is dying of AIDS and spending his remaining days on hospital detail.
No release date known yet.
Titus Welliver (aka Glenn Childs) appeared on an episode of The Closer this summer.
Alan Cumming (Eli Gold) has lent his voice to the film 'The Smurfs" plus has many other projects lined up for release. Projects such as 'In the Woods' 'The Tempest' 'Sir Billi' 'Burlesque' 'Escape to Donegal' 'Almost in Love' (only project that is in pre-production) and 'Hatter' which is a projec that is still in development. So plenty of stuff for Alan.
