Well, my uncle got married.
It was the gayest thing I've ever seen. There was a 7" tall man, dressed all in baby blue, silk scarf and all man, who kept giving me the "lets go back to my hotel room and get nasty" eyes. Scared the crap out of me. This was on the day of my birthday, by the way. So, i tried my best not to look in his direction at all, he eventually gave up on me and my tension inside left me. During the talking at the microphone my uncle announced to everyone it was my birthday, so I had to go up and listen to everyone sing happy birthday to me. I hated that in a sweet way.
The next morning lora and I left for paris.
The flight was long and horrible, and since we took a night flight, and with the time zone change, we flew right through bed time and when we got there the day had started, so.. it was pretty much a 40 hour day.. I don't wanna talk about it.
There's lots to say about paris, but I just want to keep it short.
The people are so beautiful, I don't know why. Maybe all the beautiful people of the world flock to paris, or maybe it's genetic, but every 10 minutes I was checking someone out. It was out of control.
Sadly, they are all asshole, or atleast to me they were. I think after they identify you as a tourist the red flag goes up.
The Louvre was big and confusing.
The Mona Lisa was pretty, and the Eiffel tower was very nice to look at.
Food, okay at first, then repetative...
Wine, good, and cheap!
Coffee (aka espresso) expensive.
The air smelt so nice, like perfume, but the subways did not.
Oh, and I saw the opening of 'Perfume" the movie, my favorite book, got turned into a movie, and I saw it in paris. That made me very happy. Especially since the book takes place in like 18th century paris.
I don't know what else to say. I like keeping these things short.
I think I might get another tattoo.
I have a few ideas...
umm, so photos.
i'm sorry these aren't resized, my photoshop expired so it's a big hastle to resize them.
and they aren't going to be in any chronological order, or any order at all for the matter.
