I got off of work early last night... so... surprise surprise! Byron and I rented the original 1968 Night of the Living Dead... It was great... a little cornball at points... but of course, as with all of them, George Romero's excellent script shines through wherever the film may fall short.

I went to bed watching the new Dawn of the Dead... the second scene of that movie blows my mind every time... Right from the point that the little girl walks into the hallway to the point that Sarah Polley's character wrecks her car... genious... All of that mass chaos... zombies running everywhere... things on fire... lawlessness in the streets. I dig that... that whole anarchy thing... I grew out of my punk phase... but I'm just one of those people who gets off on chaos.

...is it bad that I actually want zombies to attack now?

I don't have the money to pay for mine and Alisa's prom transportation... I think I might just drive us to the city... or maybe she just won't want to go at all... Who knows. That'll suck though... hopefully everything will work out.

I have the feeling that today might be a good day... hopefully.

Love and Zombies, Mike.

P.S. And I heard, as it were, the noise of thunder: One of the four beasts saying: "Come and see." And I saw. And behold, a white horse. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts, And I looked and behold: a pale horse. And his name, that sat on him, was Death. And Hell followed with him.
