Martha's steps felt heavy now that things had calmed down in the aftermath of whatever these things had been. She took a few deep breaths as she moved through the hallway of Level 0, still attempting to work out a course of action. This was harder now than it had been after Nathan had been in Jessica's body. Then it had been easy to blame his hunger and hatred for Pavi for what he had done. Oh, she hadn't rendered Nathan entirely blameless with that, but there was no way that she could place full blame on him.
With this, she had much less of a choice. Kirk wasn't someone from his past, the Captain wasn't someone whom had tortured him and his family; there was no physical desire for blood as substance. No. No, this was Nathan hiding a mirror after they had been collected, and using it as a weapon to place blood on a mirror after people had been warned not to.
Martha accepted some blame for this; in her haste to treat the injured she had never considered that Nathan would be so foolhardy as to listen to a mirror and allow it to tell him what to do. He had been a doctor for crying out loud! How... Her steps stopped in front of the cell door, and Martha took a deep breath before she knocked against the door.
