I got a letter from UCD this morning. Apparently I'm so crap at computer science that I have to do another year of it. Its some kind of muh, er, maf, um, oh yeah, Masters course :)

Thats deadly. Now I can arse around doing stuff I really enjoy (two classes on film production/editing, 3 on multi-agent systems and one in graphics) instead of working a nine to five. Plus, Rob got in aswell so I'll have a friend to hang around with/annoy for the year in my class.
Otherwise, I seem to be having an amazing summer. I've been down to cork for 10 days for one of the biggest juggling festivals in the world, I was down in Galway for the last week of the arts festival, and when I got back I discovered my family had bought a shiny new computer, and they managed to get one which didn't suck (other than it being a dell). My little brother got Oblivion for it. Its one of the best rpgs I've played in a reeeeeallly long time. I now understand why kevin kept not studying to go and play it.
