[Ein was silently waiting in the park for his opponent. The battlefield seemed to be big enough for close-range combat and far-range combat as well. A place like this was perfect for a showdown between two fighters

[ As cool and collected as always, Hibari shows up just seconds before the appointed time, tonfa in hand. He's quiet for a few moments, observing his opponent -- the sword is interesting, he wonders if there might be more to it than meets the eye -- before he speaks up. ]
[Ein shifts into a more serious expression as he eyes Hibari and nods. This guy already looks tough. It didn't matter if he was a human, demon or whatever.]
That's right. You came a bit earlier than I expected.
[ He blocks with his tonfa, holding the sword for a second before throwing it up and rotating, aiming for a counter with his right tonfa -- though he's careful to leave one of his sides free, in case his counter gets knocked back as well. ]
[Ein will use an odd, yet unpredictable tactic by using his foot to knock the right tonfa up and then switch his sword around to make an attempt to strike Hibari's gut with the sword's hilt.]
[ He notices and moves, but the blow still catches him on the side, light enough that the damage is negligible but enough to knock the breath out of him for a few seconds. He quickly moves out of the sword's range so he can take a few seconds and figure out his next plan of action -- perhaps it wouldn't be so bad to use a few of his tonfa's tricks, but at the same time he doesn't want to give them away so early. ]
[Spinning his sword up in a sideways position with his left hand, Ein steps back for a moment to catch his breath and decide what he should do next as well. Those tonfas are a weapon that he's unfamiliar with. Do they use magic? Or something else?]
[ In the back of his head, he vaguely thinks 'It would be convenient to have those Box Weapons now -- " and then: "No, I'm strong enough without them."
He makes a running dash at Ein, feinting for the left -- but his real purpose is to attempt to swerve around that sword, taking advantage of his weapon's relative motility to attack from behind. ]
[ It's a light blow by Hibari's standards, mostly speed and no power, and he immediately darts out of range again. Better to play it safe for the time being. ]
[Ein is going to kick up a fist-sized rock (ROCKS ARE HIS BEST FRIENDS) toward him for a distraction and dart around him like a bullet for a quick attack from behind.]
[ He dodges the rock, but isn't quite fast enough; the blow catches him in the abdomen and cuts through the flesh. There's a noise of irritation as he jumps out of reach again.

[ There's a pause, and then he swings his tonfa into a ready position, with an almost stylistic flair to it. ] Well? Let's get started, then.

[Getting in his fighting stance with Einherjar and darting forward, Ein decides to test Hibari's speed by attacking him in a horizontal arc.]

Time to put that sword out of commission, then. He makes a strange jerking motion with his tonfa -- and out fall attachments that look a bit like flails. ]
