I can't believe I leave in two days!
Can't believe that I leave in two days to do the Trans-Mongolian. Only 1 1/2 days (ok, one full day and about 2 hours and 15 minutes left today) before I'm on a plane and leaving the country.
This morning I went to the bank to get cash for my trip. Since I'm entering Russia, it is more complex than just getting some cash. Had to be US 50 or 100 bills, printed in 1996 or later, that aren't bent, folded, creased, marked, torn, etc. I had no idea how hard that is. Apparently, I could have called and they could have ordered some new bills for me. Instead the teller and manager went through the bills to find the ones in like new condition. We managed to find some that looked brand new, so I'm good there.
Tonight I'm going to REI, as I don't have an adapter for China. Same as it is used in Australia. Only a few dollars. I need to pack tonight, to make sure that I have everything. I've been slowly working on it, which helps. Chris has been a huge help.
Off to go work and work on my packing list...
