*lyricist not singer... and thats a stretch, especially coming from someone who im assuming has probably not heard even 1/5 of all of the rock and roll music out there, not to mention the other types. That was overly harsh. David Bowie is very talented.

i bet that kid hasnt even heard 1/25 of the rock music out there. Bowie wrote some great lyrics, but to call him the best is just plain foolish. As far as being a singer, his voice is great and unique, but not even close to the best.
