Just wondering.

Does your breakfast table look something like this?

That's ::gasp:: DON in the final picture (which Kate looks really hot in)? Hahhaa! I don't even know what to say. He's so totally the epitome of, well, himself, that's it's just too funny. I mean, look at him. He's like ... wow. Awesome.

I miss you and I still feel cruddy but hopefully our dance lesson won't suck. I was sadddd that you didn't talk about me and how cool I am, but then I remembered that we haven't actually been doing anything fun or adventuresome at all so far this summer. Except for, like, a single LAN party. At that board game we played when my parents were away. ::sigh:: I think I need to become cooler, eh?

Anyway, while I'm sick, I don't have much shot at it, so I'm just gonna go to bed now. See you at the dance thing tonight. I will be pumped up on caffeine.

Oh man, Settlers of Catan. I actually regretted not bringing it along; imagine the potential for Roger to get far too into it, then kill us all. Fun! I may have to mention that in an addendum post of some sort, because that settling was pretty awesome - perhaps unsettlingly so. But if you want us to go play on some train tracks or something as well, I'm all for it.

You and caffeine combine quite well, unlike fish and bicycles. I eagerly look forward to it.

Wait, wait. We HAVE to bring it to Julienne's party, now. You, me, and Seb can pwn EVERYONE, because we already understand the rules. Heh heh heh. Actually, I'm not sure I even REMEMBER the rules anymore.

What are you talking about, me and caffeine?

It is possible that we'd have to be drunk to remember the rules, a phenomenon known as context-dependent recall whereby items are retrieved from memory more easily under the same conditions in which they were encoded.

And, you know. Caffeeeeiiiine. It's like a party, but with a more bitter taste.

I seem to recall a card awarded to the player with the Longest Penis. Hm, I could be remembering that incorrectly.

That would be context-dependent encoding, where your state influences the memory you ultimately form. Thus the 'reality' you remember actually reflects your state of mind at the time you encoded it. Your subconscious flatters me.

Did you even get that card?
