warning if you don't like sad stories about old people

I spent most of my day today with my grandparents.

I love them, so its a downer to see them falling apart physically and mentally. My pop-pop has their new house in NJ decorated to the T with christmas decorations, God I love him. My grandmother kept fidigiting with one of those Hallmark snowmen playing the piano because they couldn't figure out which way it was suppose to face.

Then we went out to dinner and we were suppose to meet up with my Uncle there, but his wife's 18 year old tumor-ridden cat died like 2 seconds before they were going to leave to meet us. P Cobb can't stop laughing after she gets off the cell with him. Litearly, she couldn't. She thought it was just ironic...Oh, moments...

Then we brought my mom-mom back to her re-hab home that smelt like old people. It was so depressing because we'd just run into these old people in the middle of hallways with their heads drooped over because they had fallen asleep before getting back to their rooms or something. My mom-mom's roomate Dornine is loosing her mind and doesn't really talk that much but wandered around in her wheelchair in the commons while we were there. I loved the slot machines though; cliche entertainment.

Then we drove my Pop-pop back to their new house 20 minutes away where he will be alone until my grandmother passes more insurance tests that will let her out of rehad. I just hope and pray that its before Christmas, I don't want him to be alone.

Then we drove home.

I hope everyone makes it home ok and that their families are in good health.
