FIC: The different shades of Blue
Title: The Different Shades of Blue

Disclaimer: The only thing in here that I own is Kacie. I do not own the others in this, I just play with them hehe.
Note: I know this is a short one, but I felt like that was all I wanted to put in this one.
It was the middle of the night. They had not moved from how they were earlier. Kacie groaned in her sleep and suddenly started to wiggle some. With a small yelp she sat up awake. Her body covered in sweat. Elwood woke up with a start as she did, "Are you ok?"
Kacie panted and turned to look at him. She was crying once again, "I had a bad dream about earlier. they were after me again."
He fround and wrapped an arm around her and pulled her back down on the bed. He rested on his back and she curled up to his side. He turned his head to look down at her and smiled, "And that is all that it was, a bad dream. It isn't real and you are safe with me."
Kacie gave another smile as she sat up in the bed again and looked down at him. A blush crossed her cheeks, "I think we need to get ourselves ready for bed. Yes, I'm inviting you to sleep with me."
He sat up as well and looked at her in a serious manner but didn't say anything as he got out of the bed. He turned to face her as he slowly and carefully got himself undressed down to his shorts. He even took off his hat and sunglasses. Kacie smiled softly as she got to see him for the first time without his hat and glasses. She liked what she saw. Slowly he moved himself back into the bed and got under the covers.
It was her turn now. She stood up and faced him now. She reached down to grab a T shirt and pulled her work shirt off and over her head. She blushed as she pulled her bra off and stood there for a moment as she tossed it to the side. A small smile crossed his lips, but he wouldn't make a move unless she told him to. He had a feeling though that she was not in the mood for that tonight. He had a feeling that all she wanted was for him to be close to her. She put on the T shirt and wiggled out of her jeans. She crawled back into the bed and got under the covers. She moved closer to her and pulled her into his arms. She rested her head down on his shoulder and took a deep breath and soon shut her eyes, but she wasn't asleep yet. Instead she mumbled into his neck, "Thank you for staying with me tonight."
He gave a warm smile while his long fingers played in her hair. He looked down at her, "I'll stay as long as you want me to stay."
