Early night for me.
So we got a call at work earlier today that told us that we needed to be at work at 7am. I normally wake up at 7am. Work starts at 9am, but we have to be there early tomorrow because of the concrete fountains and bird baths that will be there. I will be outside for most of the day doing this. I also will be dodging a forklift for most of the morning. I have to wake up at 5am to get myself ready for the day.
Oh and also today while I am talking about work. I had an old lady walk in and she really wasn't all there. She bought some stuff from us and they put it in her car. Well she only had checks with her and she tried to say that she would go down town to the bank and bring back cash. I was told to not let her drive off before paying me. I wasn't going to let her off the hook, so I told her that a check would be fine. She pays but she also snatches my lunch that was sitting on the desk as well. I run after her and grab my bag. She pulls it away from me and I tell her that it was my lunch and she wanted to argue with me saying it was her stuff. I told her that it wasn't because all she got was that piece in her car and then I even showed her that it was my food.
She leaves and then calls back and says that we had another check from her. It was 400 bucks. We didn't have that check and she just didn't know what she was talking about. So they make the excuse that she had a bad doctors visit and she was a bit beside herself. Well she had been in the store a lot of times and she was always that crazy. So again we didn't believe her.
The end of the day finally came and I was ready to leave. We were all walking out the door when a customer pulled up. So we let them in and growled at them as they walked around and basically just wasted our time. I really do not like the people that come in right at the end of the day and just want to look around. I would much rather be more understanding to those that actually end up making a purchase at the end of the day, rather than just a looker. But before her, we had a lady that told us that she would be right back and she was going to go to the bank to grab up some money to come back and buy something. She didn't have anything put in her car, like the other lady from before did. This lady just flat out told us a lie. We stayed and waited and of course the other lady showed up.
I just finished my shower and dinner. I'm about to head off to bed now. I have a busy day tomorrow. I'm so glad I'm off the day after tomorrow.
