The Adventures of the amazing flooded store, epsidoe 1: What the fuck!!!
So we get to work today and the store has 18 leaks in it. We start moving furniture like mad. We lost three pieces due to water damage. We also closed at 1am today because, yeah.. no one came in and it was just no more reason for us to be there anymore. I came into work with mom, cause my parking lot for the complex was still in rough shape. Well as we over heard from my manager's mother, who works for the school system.. that school is still out for Monday because of the roof damage to one of the schools. So now we have a flooded school. The roof at the store isn't any better. I think after this round, we are going to need a new roof as well as a ceiling. Monday I know what I am going to be doing at work, if we go to work.. I'm going to be cleaning as well as helping with putting all the furniture back, well the pieces I can handle myself.. like chairs and the really small tables.
But after we left for the day, mother and I drove around to look at the houses that I liked. I have picked out six houses that I like from the outside. This next week, once it starts to look better I am going to ask to get a showing of them. So Hopefully or maybe in the next few months after I can get a loan approved I'm gonna move into my FIRST REAL HOUSE that is going to me MINE. I'm so nervous but so excited at the same time.
