Wesley was a strange mix of surprised and relieved that Katniss seemed to want to be outside, so he'd hurried to meet her in the woods. He slowed his steps as he got close, managing to make entirely too much noise stepping on leaves and twigs, and offered a hesitant wave.
"You know, I never would have even thought to consider that," Wesley said, a bit surprised as he glanced down at the leaves. "Are you still able to be quiet, even with -- all of this?"
"Impressive," he marveled, watching her. Gently, not trying to pressure her, Wesley tried, "Tomorrow, maybe you'd like to come up and help on the roof? I'm sure we could use someone who, er, doesn't nearly knock over the entire structure with every step."
That was as much as she could give, though, since right then, Katniss suddenly stopped moving so gracefully. Mostly because she had turned into a little black and white bird.
She'd thought she was done being a mockingjay. Sigh.
"Hello."

Words, words... he needed to think of words.
"Seems something of an incurable trait," he admitted with a little smile, remembering their fake kid's comments on the subject.

Wesley blinked. Then sighed.
"Would you like to fly a bit or shall we head back to the hotel?"
