Sea Change

Change is inevitable, and I hate it.
People tell you things will change for the better, they don't know that and oft times they're lying.
People will die, people will give up on you. People will leave you for more colorful distraction, people will give up on you almost before you knew they were there at all...
Somethings last longer than others. Sometimes you'll find a person, place, or ideal that's a fighter, that you'll count out early, that'll suprise you... Or maybe you wont.
Bring in the new, it's not nearly as beautiful, but it will be when you frame it in the gallery of your memory. Somethings are too beautiful to watch rot, and are best forgotten.
Drink in the beautiful days; clear blue skies, or warm thunderstorms.
My advice, as under qualified, under warranted, and unwelcome as it may be... Find music you love. Try not too attach to many memories to any one song or album you love 'cause the music can open wounds long scarred over. As well it can put you right back in the near perfect moments, which like the most wonderful of dreams, are fuck all to wake up from. The music never stops, and once pressed to wax, or written into to those pits and valleys, it never changes... The music is what I think many of us would like to be, forever trapped in a perfect moment...
And lasty, if you ever find yourself staring at litter dancing in the wind, and you find yourself thinking it's the most beautiful thing you've ever seen... You'd better get busy livin', or get busy dyin'...
