i was reading the posts at the ship thread, about Bill's proposal, and their marriage, when this scene suddenly popped into my head. it's supposed to be a scene of how Bill would break the news to his family that he's about to be married. ehe... it's a silly scene, but i like it ^_^ hope you guys do, too!

“Mom, Dad, brothers, and sister dear,” Bill Weasley grinned mischievously as he rubbed his hands in anticipation. He discreetly winked at his sister Ginny before announcing, “I’m finally ready to settle down!”
“Oh, Bill, honey! I am so happy for you!!!” Molly Weasley exclaimed as she threw herself at Bill, hugging him fiercely, tears already streaming down her face.
“Good for you, son,” Arthur gave his eldest son a fond manly slap on the back. “So when do we meet the lucky lady?” He had to yell to make himself heard, for Fred, George and Ron were exuberantly chanting, “Ickle Billy’s all grown up! Ickle Billy’s all grown up!” over and over and over and over and over and over…
“Tonight, actually!” Bill also had to yell over the din. “My special someone is standing right outside the door!”
“What?!? You rude young man!” Molly hit him on the head with her knitting. “Haven’t I taught you any manners? Let our guest in! We’re all dying to meet her!”
“Of course! Okay, Weasleys,” Bill’s smile could be traced from his left ear all the way to his right one. He opened the door and pulled in a tall, blond, blue-eyed man dressed in deep blue robes that complemented his eyes perfectly. “I’d like you all to meet Tony…”
Everyone gaped at the newcomer, who was also grinning widely. Molly’s eyes rolled into her head and she fell back against Ron and Charlie, who barely caught her before she fell to the floor.
“I’d like you to meet Tony,” Bill continued, unfazed. He pushed his special someone into the tight Weasley circle, and everyone gawked as the handsome man scrunched up his perfectly angelic face and transformed into a young woman with shockingly purple hair and a wide smile that showed off most of her teeth. “Who’s also known to everyone as Tonks!”

i'd love some feedback! and/or any other plot bunnies anyone has hopping around. i'm all out of ideas. ehe... thinking takes too much of my few remaining brain cells. ^_^
