Hello Darlings :)
I was reminded just how long I had neglected this place, so I'll try to keep my summary of events since June with as minimal rambling as possible lol.
June: Addison and I broke up in a very long, dragged out and painful process. It was not fun. He's now moving (moved?) to Colorado.
July: Sister came to visit me. It was so fun, I miss her so much. She showed up with a care package full of presents. Things my mom bought in the UK, a big box of chocolates, and some random presents. It was so cute, I adore her for it. I took her to Rodeo Drive, we wandered the walk of stars in Hollywood, went out to dinner with the boys, it was great to have her here. I really want to fly her down during her Christmas break, if I can (hopefully) save up some money.
August: Went to an Andre Nikatina & Mickey Avalon concert, then Warped Tour. Mikey Avalon was not very good haha. At Warped Tour I got to take my picture with Ace Enders. That was very awesome.
September: I went home for a weekend, which was much needed. I'd been TERRIBLY homesick for a couple months. This was the first time that being home didn't feel like.. home. It upset me a bit. It just.. feels so weird when you don't have a room to go back to at your parents house, you know? I had nowhere that was MINE in my hometown, and seeing my parents was heartbreaking. I love my mommy so much, I just wish I was ten years older and settled into my life so that she could come live with me.
October: While I was home, I was fortunate enough to be able to go to game two against the Padres in SF. While we didn't win, I had a GREAT time. Sister and I had amazing seats, and I was able to see Sarah after the game. Each win of the Giants post season was a huge and exciting victory, as we were never supposed to make it each round. It wasn't until we won the last game against the Phillies that it really clicked. All my coworkers know me as THE Giants fan at work, so I had a great time even when I had to work during games lol. I'm still over the moon that we won the World Series :)
I also went to Colorado for my cousin's wedding. It was nice to see all the family together for the first time in several years. Drinking games with the cousins, sneaking my sister out of our hotel room and way from my mother's eyes so she could drink with us lol.
Spent Halloween seeing Phantom of the Opera at the Pantages theater in Hollywood. It was beyond amazing. Then after the show (last show of the tour) Both Andrew Lloyd Webber and Sarah Brightman came onto stage. The audience flipped out haha.
November: has been fairly interesting. I was visited by the always amazing Dom, who took me to Knotts Berry Farm. Walker called me from Afghanistan, that was interesting.
Been hanging out with some coworkers lately, which has been pretty cool. A couple of them (a brother and a sister) even invited me to their place for Thanksgiving since I wasn't able to go home. They have ridiculously awesome taste in movies and nerdy things, so I've been getting along with them pretty well lol. The sister and I even went to the midnight release of Harry Potter together.. oooohmigod haha. I loooved it.
I'm even seeing someone :) haha. He is totally wrong for me in a lot of ways, but he also makes me very happy. We went on our first date to the Getty in LA, then he took me to dinner at Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. He felt that it was a crime that I had not yet been to either place, so we did both in one day haha. We'll see how this one goes, but for now I'm just going to enjoy it.
I know I probably missed a dozen things worth mentioning, and talked about a few that were not terribly important, but that's what happens when you try to write one of these and watch an episode of Dexter. This season is crazy! haha.
