Find a cheap flight to Quito
Step 4:
Fill out visa application, which includes four recently-taken passport photos, a decree and agreement from the Ecuadorian consulate, an affidavit of economic support from Ecuador, an HIV test, a police record, and a copy of my airline ticket; extra copies of all of those things; $80.
Step 5:
Journey to Chicago to pick up my visa.
Step 6:
Brush up on Spanish and wait till 22 August.
