The  new kitten is still nameless.  these are currently on the list, and we're open to suggestions.  of note...  she had a little infection when we got her, so her eyes were gunky (she's since been to the vet, and she's on all the proper meds, etc.) - so her eyes are squinty.  and as kittens tend to do, she looks like an alien.  and she's all black

I got this as a suggestion when I was looking for names for my grey cat, over as year ago...luckily I have thousands and thousand of emails I've never deleted so I still had it:

Well, seeing as how "gray" made me think of the Gray Panthers (senior citizens' advocacy group), which obviously took its name from the Black Panthers -- and seeing as how former Black Panthers leader Stokley Carmichael died eight years ago this week AND seeing as how a panther is a kind of big cat....How about Stokley?
