I don't care if global warming is caused by mankind's greenhouse gas production, or carbon emissions, or the natural cycles of the earth, or unusual solar activity, or the will of a large monster in another dimension.
There's a point where the cause becomes irrelevant, and what we can do about it must become more important. Even if our greenhouse gas production, carbon emissions, or whatever *aren't* the culprit, can cutting down them help the problem? Besides, we can't control natural cycles of the earth, or unusual solar activity, or the will of a large monster in another dimension...so we have to focus on the things we can do.
So I really don't care who is right and who is wrong on *why*. I take a look at the global temperatures. I remember what winters were like as a child where I grew up, and what they are like now when I talk to the people who still live there. I listen to my relatives who are farmers and know the seasons intimately. Something is changing the weather. Can we do anything about it? If so, we should be doing it, even if it isn't directly attacking the cause.
