It is with much cheering and celebration that we conclude The Game Season 2016. It is after months of training, technique perfection, aching limbs, and extra practice sessions that we finally come to a close and allow the adrenalin high to abate. It has been an intense season, with a final wonderful count of ten spectacular stories, nine amazing sports, and a grand total of 102,638 words for our second season! Please take a moment to all congratulate yourselves on such a tremendous accomplishment that only came about by your hard work, perseverance, and dedication to your craft. We would like to thank you for your participation, your encouragement, cooperation, and flexibility during this year's rather unconventional season. We would also like to thank all those who supported The Game Season this year and thank those who took the time to read and comment on the stories to give our athletes the credit for these amazing feats of strength.
And last, a word from the coaches~
Your Coaches ~
Dearest participants,
We were so happy when this year began and we saw how many people supported and were excited about another run together. We hadn't expected, as we imagine few of you did either, that this year would hold so much in store for us with transitions and bits of extra traction that we might not have foreseen. Yet you all made it through and we are exceptionally proud and grateful to you for holding on to the last and making it through.
We want to express gratitude and congratulations to all of those who were unable to make it across the finish line. You all worked hard and should not feel discouraged for not finishing with the rest of us. We are proud of you for taking care of yourself and realizing that sometimes it is better to tap out than to finish a race at the cost of yourself.
To everyone, we would like to offer our congratulations, admiration, and our deepest regards of gratitude for staying with The Game Season and being patient and understanding.
We hope everyone had a good time this year and enjoyed the 2016 Round of The Game Season.
And that's it for this year's The Game Season! Thank you so much for all your support. We hope you had fun! Coaches, out!
