Here's an idea I'm having, but haven't started acting on yet: a comm exclusively for debating Sherlock spoilers. I'm very unlucky with my comms, but I would like a place to post and talk about spoilers more easily - specially casting spoilers.

Nano does other writing events during the year yo ucan jump in on if you need that sort of motivation... I've started using writeordie.com because I find that being threatened with dire consequences helps, lol.

Okay, please excuse me, but I have to fangirl here for a moment:
Does everyone here know about the Discovery series "Into the Universe with Stephen Hawking"? It's narrated by our very own lovely DEEP VOICED Benedict Cumberbatch! I DON'T
Re: ANYTHING ELSE...distracted_katDecember 1 2011, 00:57:58 UTC
I am in the States! Virginia near DC, to be specific (not that it matters XD ). And I watched it on Netflix, thinking I could keep it on as background noise while I worked on a project for one of my library school classes.
That was a mistake.
Basically it ended up with me starting at the screen going "HNNNNNNNN." while eating ice cream and drinking tea, like one does.
Not a single homework was done that day. *true story*

Awwww. I saw part of it on the Science channel hoping it was BC narrating but no such luck. Maybe I mistook the series? *now must renew Netflix subscription*
Re: ANYTHING ELSE...distracted_katDecember 1 2011, 01:04:15 UTC
Netflix sometimes does that seven day free trial thing. TOTALLY WORTH IT for the opportunity to hear BC through threeee whooole looong episodes. And science! He's talking SCIENCE. Star science MY FAVORITE.
I don't EVEN.
It's like porn for your EARS. GO FORTH AND WORSHIP AT THE SCIENCEY FEET OF BC.

it's dystopian, anti-consumerism, and I'm not sure of exactly how it would go, but I'm intrigued enough to write an outline at least
