John blinks at Sherlock. "Excuse me?"

"I said, knock knock."

"Did you hit your head on the way home from America?"

Sherlock sighs. He knew he shouldn't have listened, but something in his gut tells him that he needs to do this.

"No, I did not. I had fascinating time solving a case with the impeccable Dr. Brennan."

"Okay..."

Sherlock looks at John. "She pointed out that sometimes I am abrupt and not very socially.... well-grounded. I learned very much from her since the last time we met."

"You slept with her didn't you? This is just a thing to get sex right?"

"No. No. I've never--it's not your business really. She and I have a kinship. That is all. But she has changed, grown. And perhaps I should too. Hence, a joke."

John looks at Sherlock for a long time.

"Who's there?"

Sherlock smiles. "Banana"

One of the funniest Mythbuster episodes ever involved them testing the old "slipping on a banana peel" gag. Just thought I'd throw that out there. :-)
