Burning Sensation
I want to put things in perspective and make people think with this post:
There was a guy, who loved someone more than anyone could ever imagine, had the best time of his life with her for 8 wonderful, loving and happy months, then on one day, it was taken away. He tries to get over it, every day, every week, every month, and just when he thinks he's doing good. Boom. He realizes that he has feelings still for her, knowing he doesn't have a shot with her anymore, knowing she has a boyfriend who you know you could compete with if it really came down to it, you know this. He feels this. But then he sees pictures. Pictures of himself and her together from the past. It reminds him of all of the great times they shared together. He breaks down. He realizes that he's not as strong as it seems. It burns inside of him everyday, wishing that he could turn back the hands of time to maybe do something that would make things better. It eats at him, makes him cry at night, makes him realize that no matter how much, love will weaken anyone to the bare bones and to their heart. He knows he has to move on, but he looks at the pictures, the very ones that were taken because of the love they shared, the passion they shared, and realizes that its gone and that he would do anything to get it back. But he has to move on. He has to find someone who has those characteristics that made him fall in love in the first place. He is scared sometimes to try again because he feels he will be burned and the ending will be the same. He wants to show someone love, happiness, in any way possible, he wants to hold them, show his feelings, do the romantic things that make her happy and him happy when she smiles every day. He wants to show a softer side to her and her alone. He may not do it to many because he does not want to show many weaknesses, but in the end, love is the strength and weakness all at once. She will always have a place in his heart, but he knows he wants to show a beautiful young woman how love is and how he can love with his heart and soul, not just his body and sexual overtures.
