I spent the weekend with my parents. Unfortunately it snowed over night, but I had to leave today to get back in home in time for tomorrow. On the way back, the wind got pretty bad to the point that it was a complete white out. Eventually it got so bad that I had to stop, since I couldn't see anything whatsoever. After about ten seconds of the wind not letting up, a car plowed into the back of me. Neither of us were injured, though my car got messed up a nasty bit, since she was driving an SUV.

So I waited about forty-five minutes for a cop to show up and go over the accident. I haven't confirmed the details yet, but the fault should be hers. Given that I drive a junk-car, the payment will probably be more than what the car is worth. So there's a good bit there. Though tragically when I got out of my car, the wind whipped my hat right off and it was going too fast for me to catch it. I guess I should've mentioned that to the cop...

But I'm back now. And alive! It's been fun having
subspace_rpg back, especially now that we seem to be getting new people. It also provided a good reason for me to go back and play Battle Clash and Metal Combat, two greatly underlooked games. Even StarTropics and Kid Icarus seem to have more of a following. Despite that, the games are excellent (if not short) games. The character designs are awesome... It's very much like F-Zero in the way that it is populated by bizarre characters, not many of which would be considered the 'young, attractive' archetype so heavily demanded in video games. In fact, most of the characters are just downright hideous. Which is awesome. I plan to use one of those characters in the RPG as well as working them into the Gamehiker Wiki. It just makes me sad that I've only managed to find another dead Nintendo series that won't get revived.

accidents, people, here's some more tags, death, gamehiker, is this living, oh my god they found me, subspace
