I've been trying to listen to more "modern" music, especially since bards apparently don't have a lot of music that is able to be put on this iPod device that contains and plays music. Lately I've been trying something call "hip-hop" but I don't understand half the words used.

Could someone explain the following terms for me?

• ghetto super star
  
• someone named Lady Gaga wants to ride something called a "disco stick"? the idea of a noblewoman being a musician is very strange
  
• apple bottom jeans, since I haven't seen anyone with jeans on with apples on the bottom I assume it's not meant to be taken literal
