Had such a funny weekend. Went to the rugby as usual on Friday and got soaked walking home. When Ian picked me up it was sunny and quite mild so I only had my rugby shirt, jumper and body warmer thing on. Half time came and the heavens opened. It was that  fine rain that soaks ya through!! Grrr!!

Went to the Grand National with Alex and Jen on Saturday. That was equally as awful weather. There we were all tarted up....equipped with a brolly and the grass was so muddy. It was like Glastonbury in heels, it was a nightmare. Didn't get to see any of the initial races cos we spent so much time in the Pavillion trying to keep dry. We ended up slumming it and going over to the John Smiths stand (the cheap seats) and ended up sitting with a group of Australian guys. They were so funny and kept moaning about the weather. By this time the sun was out but it was still bloody windy and cold. We just said "Welcome to England" they were so funny, and the one sat next to me was very cute and was so sweet to talk to. Bless him, I think I love him hahaha.
Anyhow, I won a fiver the whole day, Alex and Jen didn't win anything so I thought all things considering I did ok.

After the races we went into Liverpool for a meal in ASK and it was really nice, not too packed either. Though when we got to Newz Bar it was heaving. I decided to avoid wine after recent escapades with the devils drink and I stayed on Corona instead, very nice with a slice of lime! We only had a few drinks in there then Stuart came and picked us up cos we were all knackered and my feet were blistered to hell....the joy of heels all day. I hate them.
So was home and in bed for 11pm and slept right through till midday yesterday. I so needed the sleep and was just happy to do nothing yesterday (well except go to my uncles with his birthday present) that was all I did.

So a rather eventful weekend in all. A 4 day working week too this week which is a bonus, and it's the big game of the season on Easter Monday against Wigan! Can't wait!
