Rain Walk / Beware of the Puddles - copy and paste from email to Kate.
^_^ I've walked back home in the rain twice in recent days.
Friday evening, it got a bit silly, as what I enjoy most, I guess, is singing in the rain, and as I dodged some of the puddles, I made a song of it, singing "beware of the puddles"...only I got so caught up in singing this, I drifted off, and was thinking more about the music I guess, and not paying attention to where I was walking, until - yep - you guessed it - splosh! ^_^ I looked down at my shoe now submerged within a fairly deep puddle, contemplating the irony of being so busy singing "beware of the puddles" that I had neglected to be aware of any puddles. "Yep, ..." I thought to myself, and kicked in with the chorus: "Beware of the puddles..."...only this time sung, with a little more meaning, finally appreciating the purpose of the lyrics. ^_^
