I love Martina,
but her Grandpa has got Cancer now for the third time,
and it sounds like the doctors are writing him off.
I don't usually have a lot of sympathy for old people dying, as that's generally what happens to everyone when they're old, and we all go eventually one way or another,
but Martina's someone I love, so I am a bit concerned.
Especially since it all weighs on her mind all the time.
It also brings home these ideas recently about getting more out of life.
Does that have to rely on festering discontentment?
What is the connection between denial and desire?
Is the grass always greener on the other side of the fence?
A journal gives many thoughts,
but our actions are really how we lead our life.
Anyway, much love for Martina, and thoughts and prayers for her Grandpa. Even though I don't claim to be religious anymore, it's always good to wish people well.
