this Thursday night which has firmly made its mark with the Thursday faithful. The last 3 weeks have blown up and this week we have a scouting night for ‘Get Me The Producer’ a new Channel 4 show which will follow former BBC Director-General Greg Dyke’s search for new television production talent. The series is looking for twelve aspiring boys or girls who have a burning ambition to work in television and, just as importantly, lots of great ideas they want to see brought to life. Greg Dyke will oversee the process with the help of two specially chosen television executives who will give expert advice to the candidates. Each week the show will be based around a different genre of television and there will be plenty of chances to meet some of the most talented people working in the industry. The winning candidate will get a twelve month contract with a top television production company.
