Another sporadic update: Japan!

I'm going to Japan on Saturday to tutor a computational neuroscience course!!! Whic is rather cool, I think :) So if anyone wants any (a) funny little cute Japanese toys (b) reasonable quality sake or (c) other things, let me know! I'll try to bring some back

I completely agree. Down with body temperature! We will no longer be subjected to the tyranny of 37 degrees!

(Harbin Ice festival sounds great... though fitting the required cold-weather gear may be a challenge :) )

Heh; and I completely misread:
we can get passed taking a multitude of planes if we do over night trains

I've never done over a train before... I wouldn't want to hurt its feelings! :) (and I'm really not up for passing a plane... ouch)
