Another sporadic update: Japan!
I'm going to Japan on Saturday to tutor a computational neuroscience course!!! Whic is rather cool, I think :) So if anyone wants any (a) funny little cute Japanese toys (b) reasonable quality sake or (c) other things, let me know! I'll try to bring some back.
I'm not really sure yet what this thing will actually involve (other than a lot of work... apparently I'm in for 2 weeks of 16 hour days...); I do know that the line-up of lecturers is excellent, including one nobel prize-winner, and one fellow who invented a whole bunch of techniques which are now standard in the field...
So the whole thing is rather exciting, but simultaneously a little daunting...
Anyway; I'll try to remember to update as things go along... (or if nothing else, sometime in early July!)
