(no subject)
i'm being told it's been 19 weeks since i last updated this thingy.
this isn't really an update, as it were, but rather a query. and no i'm not talking about mulleted former packer receiver, jeff, who according to my livejournal interests i am the only person on all of livejournal to have any interest in.
it is a query about numbers. check out this quote...
"According to some estimates we cannot track $2.3 trillion in transactions," Rumsfeld admitted.
anyone know when that's from? it's from the least significant day in american history, september 10th, 2001.
and here we are over 7 (that's another number) years later and i'm guessing something(s?) happened between then and now to make us forget all about it (how convenient), but wow wouldn't that scrill come in handy right about now. we'd still have 1.6 trillion (give or take a few billion here or there) after bailing out whoever we did for whatever reason we did. and when i say "we" i mean the you ess and eh.
i think i'll call this thing the bright side of being poor.
