Senior Thoughts
Clicking the submit button on the UC application is very satisfying... no stress, no pomp and circumstance, no ceremony... just a quiet little mouse click that seals a little package of possibilities for me. Four choices. Soon, three more will join them. Choices that affect my life. Who I am, who I meet, who I marry, where I work, what I do... everything. I don't even feel a bit stressed... but I'm sure that will totally change come April when the acceptances start rolling in and I have to decide in that short month which college I want to attend and what my life will be like.
Then again, I've been waiting a week and half for my mother's credit card to coordinate with my schedule so I could send in my application.
Watching people hide behind facades is painful. And it's so obvious they're hiding too.
