Today my editor called me to say that my first column is "okay" but that it could have been written by anyone else. I sound nervous. I sound afraid.
Not that I should use it as a valid point of reference, but I haven't been able to write well since Felipe came into my life. Why? I don't know.
Maybe while I was so wrapped around the thought of him taking my virginity, I didn't realize that he could ever take my voice, too.
