1. What is the last book you read and what book(s), if any, are you currently reading? feasting with the Franks, by Jim Chevalier. Now I am reading The Landsknecht Cookbook, by Volker Bach. Mostly I am trying to read magazines this year, so I can clear out the stash.
2. How about moving pictures? Are you a fan of any TV show or movie right now? I am half watching Cuckoo while I work, because it is fluffy noise in the background while I work. I want to get Crave one of these days so I can catch up on the newer Star Trek shows. I also watched Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, which was fun, and I am working my way through The Expanse (still not sure I love it).
3. What's your favorite genre, and why? Either European police shows or costume pieces (everything from romantic comedies to dramas and spy/police stories)
4. If we were all evacuating the planet, and you could only bring 3 unique works of entertainment for posterity, which would you pick? Let's just assume that we've coordinated it so there are no repeats. No idea. I would probably prefer to bring art supplies, scores and instruments, or paper and pens to create stories, music, and plastic arts.
5. Do you make new works as well (fannish or original both count)? Or is that not your skillset/interest? I don’t write stories but I occasionally write poems. I do enjoy painting with friends, and I have promised to make a medieval-style award scroll for the end of the month. I wish I could get back to writing music. Some day…
