Sodding on
What a weekend. I never feel like I accomplish enough, nor do I have the energy to do all the things I'm supposed to.
This weekend I went and ordered sod, peat moss and grass seed to be delivered on May 20. Guess I'll be having a sodding long weekend.
I had a quote for the fence, and another for the basement to be waterproofed. I also transplanted a bush in the backyard. I had to resort to an axe to get through the roots. I bought a giant planter and repotted a tree, and planted mom's giant geranium bush into the planter at the side of the front porch. I did my taxes and Netfiled them. I took my dogs to the park. I bought a downspout for the backyard and installed it. I did laundry.
I have come to realize that I do not like gardening. I combines my three least favorite things: dirt, worms and physical labor.
