The Ball Don't Lie...

  • I have decided I can not go out the day before school. I always tell myself I am just gonna go here and there, blah blah real quick, be home in bed on time so I am not so damn tired the next day. Ya well that turns in to 4:30am. With lots of free beer in me. So try not to seduce me with your free booze and glamorous, weekday parties on nights before I have school. :-0
  • Things I need and will be getting.... 1. Laptop. 2. New tires. 3. New clothes 4. My big check so I can get it all.
  • Remember that promotion I was jewed out of back in Nov at work? Well, after countless meanings, and the union defending my rights to it. Finally, I got it. With a shit load of back bay I will be getting. Atleast 600 to 700. Guarantees me now 40 hours a week instead of 32 hours and I move about 6 more people on the seniority list. With a raise I might add.
  • This could not have come in a better time, bc my second job has run out. The contract with the city of Lincoln Park is up. They choose to go one way, we choose to go another. I guess charging them $12,000 a month was just not in there budget this year. They went for about $10,000 instead.
  • The Superbowl teams are in tact now. Seattle Seahawks vs Pittsburgh Steelers. That should be a good superbowl and its right here in Detroit.
  • GO STEELERS!
  • Dramatic changes are being made downtown. I see them almost everyday. Buildings all around are being imploded, torn down, destroyed, whatever. They took down an abandoned sky scraper the other day. It was such a bad eye sore. Now, its just a lot. All this for a superbowl? We should of been doing this for years. I just hope it does not all stop after the superbowl is done. This city really needs a new start, a revamp. Lets hope the changes keep coming.
  • Finally got things OK with Michelle. We both sat down and talked for about 3 hours. I feel much better now. I tried to let everything and all come out, and she did as well.
  • School is going well so far. Homework is minimal. Just a shitload of reading every night in most of my classes.
  • Has anyone been following the Detroit Pistons this year? Uh... If you have not, you should. They are gonna make some big history this year, if there amazing year keeps up. They played 40 games so far and won 35 of them. That is unheard of. 35-5. They are on pace to break the all time win record. 72-10 record, 96-Chicago Bulls.
  • I'm tired, going to bed on time for once.
