This is an editorial cartoon that I've long wanted to draw myself
Don't know why they had to pick on Prime Minister Jullia Gillard. It could have been any of the previous 5 prime ministers (or even further back, but that goes to when I was still in school).
In particular there's a mental image I've always wanted to illustrate on paper - a tiger (representation of China) with fangs drooling and advancing menacingly on a kangaroo joey who optimistically asks "Will you be my friend?"
