Al Bundy the 2nd
Spencer was hilarious as I was teasing him. I told him we could find an old Dodge Dart for him to drive, his prom date looks a little like Peggy Bundy, and that I would be Jefferson!
He was leaving for school the next morning and I said to him, "Have a good day, Al."
He gives me a look like I am the worst daddy in the world! That evening I asked him if his mother knew of his new job and what she said about it. He told me that mother was sweet, unlike me. (he doesn't know his mother is a real hoot when it comes to funny)
Yeah, boy, I write a newspaper column. EVERYBODY IS GOING TO BE IN ON THIS LAUGH!
He told me he does like my sense of humor. However strange it is.
